SEOUL, South Korea, March 25, 2026 —Weverse has been named to Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026 list in the Social Media category. The list spans a wide range of industries, featuring global leaders such as Google, NVIDIA, Adidas, and Walmart.
“Weverse was built to redefine how artists and fans connect in a global, digital-first environment,” said Joon Choi, President of Weverse. “This recognition reflects our focus on delivering a more authentic and accessible fan experience—one that not only deepens engagement but also supports long-term, sustainable growth for artists and labels, further reinforcing Weverse’s role in setting a global standard and leading the evolution of fan platforms.”
Over the past year, Weverse has further strengthened its position as a leading global superfan platform, expanding engagement across a more connected fan community and broader ecosystem. In 2025, the platform reached a new high of 12 million monthly active users (MAUs), reflecting continued growth in both scale and engagement.
Guided by its focus on creating a safe and authentic space for artists and fans, Weverse has continued to enhance its services to enable more meaningful and engaging fan experiences. The launch of Digital Membership in late 2024 improved the seamless delivery of digital benefits by introducing additional perks, including auto-generated subtitles for live content and ad-free video streaming. Listening Party, launched in early 2025, has helped foster stronger connections and a sense of community by bringing fans and artists together through real-time, shared experiences. These features support more active participation and sustained artist-fan relationships.
The company also expanded its global ecosystem through strategic partnerships and localized features. Collaborations with streaming and regional platforms enable real-time shared music experiences, while localized payment options, including OXXO Pay in Mexico, and multi-language support improve accessibility. More than 85% of platform traffic now comes from outside of Korea, underscoring Weverse’s global reach and its ability to connect artists with fans across markets.
The World’s Most Innovative Companies is Fast Company’s hallmark franchise and one of its most anticipated editorial efforts. Editors and writers evaluate thousands of submissions through a competitive application process, recognizing companies driving progress across industries and regions.
“Our list of the Most Innovative Companies is about spotlighting organizations that don’t just adapt to change—they drive it,” said Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “The companies we honor this year are redefining what leadership looks like in 2026, pairing bold ideas with measurable impact and turning breakthrough innovation into real-world value. They are setting the pace for their industries and offering a blueprint for what sustained innovation can achieve.”
