WEVERSE LAUNCHES LISTENING PARTY, AN IN-APP STREAMING SERVICE FOR ARTISTS AND FANS TO STREAM CURATED MUSIC AND EXCHANGE CHAT MESSAGES IN REAL-TIME
Weverse’s new service “Listening Party” is set to launch on March 27 at 2PM KST (March 26 10PM PT).
Listening Party is an in-app service where artists and fans can host online parties, listen to curated playlists together, and chat in real-time.
Weverse partnered with Spotify, the main streaming service that will be integrated with the Weverse app, to power the music streaming capabilities of the new service.
While anyone on Weverse can join a Listening Party, the hosting capabilities for fans are exclusively available to those who have Weverse’s Digital Membership, a monthly subscription service launched last December for enhanced user experience and additional in-app perks.
From Weverse’s Digital Membership to the new Listening Party, these additions continue to expand the platform’s diverse offerings that span e-commerce, community engagement, and exclusive content, allowing labels and artists to flexibly select the services that best suit their audiences.
